The 320 Outdoor Stairlift from Stannah offers ease of access to maintaining an independent lifestyle. Use this elegant stairlift for quick access to your car or garden. The 320 outdoor stairlift was designed to function in any weather condition from sun to rain or snow.

Operating the 320 couldn’t be easier. The joystick requires only a light touch to glide seamlessly up or down your stairs. At the top of the stairs, simply press down on one of the swivel levers to turn the seat and face the upward direction, where you can easily and safely get on and off the seat. A removable immobiliser key can be added for extra security, as well as a protective cover to shield it from the elements when not in use.

Remote Call Station

Function: Each end of your staircase will be fitted with controls so you can call or send the stairlift at often as you like. The lift is IP65 rated, meaning that the rails are protected from dust and even projected water from a hose.

Stairlift Control Joystick

Function: Allows the user to operate the stairlift and is particularly suited to those who find buttons difficult to use.
Benefit: Operation and control of the stairlift is suited to the needs of the user.

Swivel Seat Intermediate Locking Positions

Function: Allows the user to swivel the seat in smaller steps. The user simply releases the levers to allow this to happen.
Function: Easy and safe swivelling of the seat when the top of the stairs are reached.

Protective Cover

Function: A protective cover can be placed over the folded seat when not in use, to protect against weather conditions.
Function: The outdoor stairlift is always dry, clean and ready for use.

Power-on Light

Function: A green light comes on when the stairlift is turned on, indicating that the lift if ready to be used.
Benefit: You can see when the stairlift is ready to use.

Seatbelt

Function: A non-retractable seatbelt conveniently clips shut in the centre of your lap so it’s easy to see and reach.
Benefit: Encourages safer stairlift use.

Safety Edges

Function: The carriage and footplate on the stairlift have intelligent sensors that can detect an obstruction, e.g. a book or a pet. If it detects an obstruction, the stairlift will stop automatically. The stairlift can then move in the opposite direction away to the obstruction. This allows the obstruction to be moved so that you can continue using the stairlift.
Benefit: The stairlift is safe for the user and others on the stairs.

Power Key/ Chair Key

Function: This function allows you to lock the stairlift in the “off” position. The stairlift must have the key inserted and be switched to “on” in order to be used. The key remains located under the chair arm.
Benefit: Prevents others e.g. children from using the lift.

Manual Carriage Winding

Function: In the unlikely event that the stairlift breaks down mid travel, the user or service technician can use the manual carriage winding handle to move the stairlift manually.
Benefit: In the unlikely event of a breakdown, the technician has the necessary devices to move the stairlift.

Continuous battery charging

Function: The stairlift is constantly on charge no matter where it’s located on the rail.
Benefit: Ensures your stairlift is always on change and is therefore always ready to use.
Technical: The charging strip is on the wall side of the rail.
