The Quantum comfort is a plush, feel mattress that uses Fusion Gel Memory foam to achieve a high level of comfort and even pressure distribution.

Memory foam was developed for Nasa in 1966. The main objective was to create a cushioning that will relieve stress to astronauts, caused by the G-force, during take-off. While not suitable for space-travel, Nasa sold the original formula to the medical industry. After a lot of development a Swedish manufacturer know as Tempurpedic was able to craft a version that would suit a commercial market.

In the past, memoryfoam has gained a bad reputation, as it offers less airflow and has been known to cause heat build-up. That is why we have infused our memory foam with tiny gel beads. Having gel-infused memory foam as made a huge difference in making memory-foam a popular bedding component.

FusionGel blends traditional memory foam with the superior pressure relieve, support and temperature management properties of enhanced gel properties. When pressure is applied, gel particles move together, providing greater support to the areas that require it. Increased airflow and heat distribution assist in achieving an even sleep temperature.

By using high-density urethane, you will enjoy a longer mattress-life and a higher level of support. It is finished off with a breathable wool-blend comfort quilting.

This mattress is best suited at people who don’t move too much in their sleep and find it easy to roll-ver in bed, as the memory foam absorbs and imprints your shape into the foam, giving you a feeling of being enveloped. The increased sinkage assists in equalling out the contours of the body, resulting in a higher level of compression support.

No other mattress will give you less partner disturbance than a memory foam mattress, as it offers the least amount of motion transfer, meaning you won’t feel your partner toss and turn at al.
