More choice in mobility: Introducing Monarch scooters

Home ScootersMonarch Mobility Scooters Monarch Zener Monarch Volta Monarch Buzz 4

Choosing a mobility scooter is a very personal decision. The right scooter needs to suit where you want to go, how you plan to use it and, of course, your budget.

At Motobility, we've always been selective about the mobility scooters we offer. Our range includes established brands such as Quingo, Kymco and Heartway, with products chosen for their quality, performance and the different needs of our customers.

But we also recognised that many of these scooters sit at the premium end of the market. For someone looking for a straightforward scooter for everyday mobility, that level of investment may not always be necessary.

That's why we've introduced Monarch mobility scooters to the Motobility range.

A more affordable place to start

When looking for a more affordable scooter range, price wasn't our only consideration.

We didn't want to simply find the cheapest scooters available. We wanted to introduce a range that offered a more accessible price point while still being something we were comfortable putting our name behind.

Monarch gives us that additional choice.

The range complements our existing scooters rather than replacing them, allowing us to offer options across a broader range of needs and budgets.

For some people, the additional capabilities and features of a premium scooter will absolutely be worthwhile. For others, a simpler and more affordable scooter may provide everything they actually need.

Meet the Monarch scooter range

We've introduced three Monarch models, each offering something a little different.

Monarch Buzz 4 – made with transport in mind

If being able to take your scooter with you is important, the Monarch Buzz 4 offers a practical starting point.

Its pull-apart design makes it easier to transport in a vehicle, making it well suited to shopping trips, appointments, holidays or days out.

It's a good example of why more isn't always better when choosing a scooter. If your priority is portability and straightforward everyday mobility, you may simply not need the size and capability of a larger model.

Monarch Zener – for everyday mobility

The Monarch Zener steps up in size and comfort for customers looking for a scooter they can use more regularly.

With suspension, a swivel seat and a higher weight capacity than the Buzz, it provides another option for everyday trips while remaining relatively compact.

For someone who doesn't need a heavy-duty scooter but wants more comfort and capability than a portable model, the Zener can sit nicely in the middle.

Monarch Volta – more capability for the outdoors

For customers who expect to spend more time outdoors, the Monarch Volta offers a larger and more capable option.

Larger wheels, suspension and additional power make it better suited to customers whose everyday journeys may take them beyond smooth indoor floors and shopping centres.

Again, it's not about choosing the biggest scooter available. It's about having enough capability for where you actually intend to go.

Price matters – but it's only part of the decision

We're pleased that Monarch allows us to offer a more affordable entry point into our mobility scooter range. But we don't believe price should be the only factor when choosing one.

Consider where you'll use your scooter most often. Will it need to fit into a car? Who will be lifting or assembling it? How far do you expect to travel? What types of surfaces will you encounter? And, importantly, how comfortable and confident do you feel when you're using it?

Two scooters can look quite similar on paper and feel very different once you actually drive them.

That's why we encourage customers to try different options and talk through how they intend to use their scooter before making a decision.

More choice, backed by Motobility

Adding Monarch gives us something we wanted to offer: a more affordable entry point without making price the only consideration.

Alongside our Quingo, Kymco and Heartway ranges, Monarch gives our customers more choice across different needs, preferences and budgets.

And ultimately, that's what a good mobility scooter range should do. Not overwhelm you with options, but give you the right ones to consider.

Visit your local Motobility showroom to explore the Monarch range alongside our other mobility scooters and speak with our team about what may suit you best.
