About the Quingo Air two

The Air 2 is a great portable size scooter with medium scooter comfort features. Thanks to the innovative Quintell design features the Quingo Air 2 doesn’t only provide a one of a kind driving experience but also allows for superior safety features! With a weight capacity of 136kg and a battery range of 16km (or 29km with battery extension pack), this scooter is well suited at everyday use and comes with a 3-year manufacturers warranty.

The Quingo concept is built on the 5-wheel design; it solves many problems that conventional 4-wheel and 3-wheel scooters may encounter. 

4-wheel scooter, while stable will often be restricted in leg-room, making tall people, people with long legs or people with knee and hip issues feel cramped or uncomfortable, especially during prolonged use. The large front wheel and smaller side wheels allow for foot placement above the smaller side wheels, hence producing a more ergonomic seating position.

The 5-wheel design also allows for a tighter turning circle, as the inner wheel will lift when turning to allow for a tighter turning circle.

While 3-wheel scooters provide a tight turning circle and additional legroom, they are substantially less stable then 4-wheel or 5-wheel scooters, requiring additional user training and awareness and are recommended for use on even surfaces only.

Is this scooter right for me?

The Quingo Air 2 is the right scooter for you if you want a smaller machine, with a great turning circle and stability. It is also the perfect choice if you find that other scooter models don’t give you enough leg-room and you have sore knees that cause pain when bending at a 90’ angle for a prolonged period. While it is still portable, the slightly higher weight of components makes it more suitable for occasional transport, rather than day to day disassembly and assembly.

If you want a portable option that is slightly lighter, it may be worth considering the Kymco Mini Comfort or the SS120 Sport. If you love the 5-wheel design but want a bigger machine, the Quingo Classic and Quingo Plus, are the models to be considered.
